Overall it’s fine. The staff are very friendly and everything is clean. There were no people, so it was boring, and the pool water was impossibly cold; there’s nothing else to do there, and the TV didn’t translate into our language.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Megalochori itself is appealing, with a few nice and affordable taverns, making it a good starting point for exploring the island and its beaches – renting a car is advisable. The hotel is on a heavily trafficked street, but keeping the windows closed kept the noise from disturbing us.

The hotel felt very luxurious and impressive, and our room was beautiful with everything we needed. Breakfast was great, offering freshly made omelettes or fried eggs on request and plenty of coffee. The welcome was amazing: we received a drink at check‑in, a helpful map of the area, and the whole team were among the friendliest people we’ve ever met. We stayed during a slightly chilly week and our private pool was cold, so we really wanted a heated pool, but the quoted €50 per person for just half an hour seemed extremely expensive. The private pool didn’t feel truly private; standing up we could clearly see neighbouring rooms’ pools, and the gaps around the metal posts let us see into adjacent rooms, which hurt our sense of privacy and enjoyment. Room cleaning was done in two separate stages, which we found unusual and inconvenient.

The facility was very good, our stay was wonderful, and the staff were extremely attentive – I will definitely choose this place again, thanks to the whole team. The breakfast could have been a bit better, but it was still sufficient.

הצוות היה מקסים ושירותי ממש וענו על כל הבקשות שהיו לנו. החדר יפה מאוד וגדול, מסודר ונקי. ארוחת בוקר טעימה עם כל מני אפשרויות. בבריכה בחדר שלנו לא הייתה שמשיה שזה קצת ביאס (גם לא ביקשנו כי לא היינו הרבה זמן בבריכה) הזרם במקלחת חלש והמיטה הייתה רכה מדיי לטעמנו. אבל באמת שזה דברים מאוד קטנים ולא השפיעו על החוויה שלנו לרעה
