The location was very interesting in the old district that’s just coming alive, the staff were friendly, and the rooftop terrace was great, though it was under repair at the time—once it’s usable it will surely be a highlight. Some rooms only have courtyard windows; be sure to book a room with a street-facing window.

“The hotel was let down by location and lack of tourist activities and eateries.”

The staff were professional and helpful. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The common areas and the breakfast and evening wine were good. The property sits in the old town, so there aren’t many great places to eat or visit nearby, and the location felt a bit unsafe at night.

A lovely hotel close to the República metro station, in a historic neighborhood surrounded by well‑preserved old houses and a beautiful fountain. The staff were very friendly and meticulous; when I returned from my tours for my daughter’s birthday they greeted me with a celebratory cake, which I was very grateful for. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back. Everything was fine.
