The parking area is huge. After a long trip from abroad, I arrived in Bicol a day before the graduation, and the next day I had to travel about four hours early in the morning on the day of my hotel booking. Because I was attending a graduation event, I asked for an early check‑in around 1:30 PM, but the hotel only offered it for an extra fee. When I got there, the front desk staff were not welcoming, and there was a clear lack of warmth or hospitality during check‑in. Also, guests must bring their own iron or steamer, as these are only available for an extra charge. I found mosquitoes in the room and reported it to reception; they acknowledged the problem but did nothing to fix it. I can’t comment on all the amenities, but I would say the customer service was average. The presence of large mosquitoes in the room is a concern that should be addressed to ensure guest comfort and hygiene. Checking out also took about 30 minutes of waiting time. I was physically tired and did not enjoy my stay at Sundaze, so I had no energy to follow up on the mosquito issue. The good thing I did that day was book my family at a nearby hotel where the stay was excellent. Robertson Hotel is just a few minutes away from this hotel, and my whole family enjoyed their stay there. By the way, I booked 2 rooms at Sundaze and 3 rooms at Robertson.

I found the rooms clean, but the Wi‑Fi was terrible—on the 3rd floor there was no signal at all, and there was no phone in the room to call reception. The hotel also has no restaurant, so there’s a lot that needs improvement.
