We especially liked how the location let us do a lot of nearby activities, and we strongly recommend a quiet spot like this instead of staying in the very busy center of Morondava. The beautiful, tranquil Kimony Beach is about a 30‑minute walk away, and the many baobabs are perfect for sunset walks. A few minutes’ walk from the hotel is a resort with a lemur and turtle area that you shouldn’t miss. The Baobab Avenue (which we visited at dawn, which is better, and at sunset) is a 40‑minute drive away. We also went to the Kirindi forest, but the trip took two hours and fifteen minutes one way and the road was in awful condition. Owner Mr. Johannes went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, arranging all the activities and transfers we asked for and fixing occasional problems. We could pay digitally. The on‑site restaurant was convenient, with room for improvement in quality, but still recommended.

The place was calm, relaxing, and peaceful. The staff were welcoming, respectful, and friendly, and the food at the restaurant was excellent!
