Polite and welcoming reception staff, but we booked a self‑catering UNIT and were handed a double room instead. The invoice was correct, yet after a lot of justification we were finally offered the unit we originally paid for—by which time the kids were already settled and we were scrambling to cook dinner because it was already dark after a long afternoon of travel. It was extremely disheartening. Then we were told a double room costs the same as a full self‑catering unit, which felt like a joke. The booking platform was blamed, but the invoice was right. Coming from out of town, I don’t feel we received what we paid for. I should have heeded the earlier bad reviews and chosen a different location. With children, we were placed right next to a busy local hotspot road and could hear loud locals into the early morning; the walls are so thin that you can hear neighbors talking. I’m sorry we wasted our money on this location.

My friend booked a self‑catering family unit for both our families, but on arrival we were given a double room with two double beds. When we asked, we were told the family unit we booked was under renovation and that the prices were the same; I don’t think a whole unit should cost the same as a room. Because it was a self‑catering accommodation, we expected a two‑plate stove or something to cook on, but they said no. After supper, my friend and her family went to take a bath; they didn’t spend hours in the bath, just topping up water the whole time. When I climbed into the shower, there was hardly any hot water, I didn’t even open the cold water. There were nice soap dispensers against the wall, but they were empty. I’m very disappointed; we paid a hefty fee that was not worth the price.
