The restaurant staff and the food were good. The location: far from "civilization".

The dinner at the inn was tasty and offered a fair value. The breakfast staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The parking under the carport, which is normally paid for, was free, probably because of the shoulder season. On the downside, the advertised room upgrade turned out to be nothing special. The suite was spacious, but the bathtub that doubled as a shower didn’t allow a standing shower, and the separate toilet had no sink, so separate use was practically impossible. The room also lacked a kettle and a fridge, which are expected in modern accommodations. The beds creaked with every movement, and the mattresses felt too soft for my taste. The owners seemed too reserved for a country hotel, and the warm atmosphere that makes such hotels special was missing, regardless of the price range.

Great location. Friendly hosts and a fantastic wellness area. Breakfast was excellent and dinner was good. The room was very clean. The only downside was the weather.
