“Emplacement idéal à deux pas de l'embarcadère pour les îles Boromées”
This little family hotel is a nice address for a 3‑star. Of course, an elevator could be added, the room could be bigger, and the sound insulation could still be improved, but how dare one complain when everything is there for the occupants’ comfort. Cleanliness is impeccable. The room with a lake view, probably renovated recently, is pleasant and equipped with very good bedding. The shower/WC area isn’t very large but is pretty and sufficient, and it’s convenient to find soap and body lotion there. The restaurant La Tentation has a lovely terrace and offers very good dishes. Prices are reasonable. Ideal if you don’t want to go out at night. The à la carte breakfast is served on the terrace in summer facing the lake. The cappuccino is delicious and the prices are reasonable there too. In addition, the Garlaschini family, owners of the place, are welcoming, friendly, attentive, always ready to help and inform. A great spot for a very satisfying value for money. We’ll come back. The sound insulation is not ideal.
