“Ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt!”
Our stay at this hotel was simply excellent. From start to finish everything matched – there is hardly anything to criticize. I especially want to highlight the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. All employees were always very nice, helpful and courteous. The rooms were also very clean, tidy and well maintained. A real highlight was our upgrade. We had originally booked a Sunrise Villa, but were upgraded to a Water Villa – and even to Villa 308. Villas 307 and 308 are, in our opinion, the best because you get a particularly nice view, enjoy much more privacy and don't feel watched by other guests. For us that was truly optimal and made our stay even more special. We thank you again for that! The food was also excellent. The quality and selection convinced us very well, and we enjoyed every meal. Overall it was a beautiful and completely successful stay for us. We felt very comfortable from the first to the last day and would visit this hotel again anytime. A clear recommendation! The biggest criticism is the prices. Food, wine and drinks are already very expensive, which might be understandable for such a resort. However, the prices for water sports are completely over the top and, in our opinion, verge on audacity. The price‑performance ratio is clearly off. The service in the restaurant was also unfortunately not at the level one would expect. Especially in the morning at breakfast and in the evening when more guests were in the restaurant, the staff seemed partly overwhelmed and disorganised. There were, however, a few very dedicated and well‑trained employees – especially an Indian employee who apparently had a leading role, who really made an excellent job. The rest of the service staff, however, regularly forgot orders. For example, if you ordered three items, you could almost be sure that at least one of them would not be brought. It was particularly chaotic when the dishes came from the kitchen: staff stood with the food in the restaurant and sometimes didn't even know which table the order belonged to. This created an overall quite disorganised impression. Another clear minus point are the bicycles. Depending on where you are housed in the complex, you practically rely on a bike. It is even more disappointing that the bicycles are in a really bad condition. Many are heavily rusted, sometimes barely rideable and obviously have not been properly maintained for a long time. One wonders whether these bicycles are still from the last colonial era. A resort of this category should urgently invest here.
