I knew the station was a distance away when I booked, and there was a sake bottle on the same grounds, so I planned to have dinner there anyway. However, even though the room was supposed to be non‑smoking, it smelled as soon as I walked in. I used the coin‑laundry and, while I understand the machines are old, the dryer door’s rubber seal was covered in mold; I couldn’t finish drying my clothes and it was really unsettling. Sorry about that. I get that the equipment is aged, and for its age the room was relatively clean, but the overall vibe was rather dark.

The twin room felt cramped, so having an extra pull‑out or fold‑away bed that could turn it into something closer to a double would make sleeping more comfortable.

The default pillow seems stuffed with dried beans, but fortunately you can swap it. The “double” room is actually a single, so the bed feels a bit tight. It’s a bit far from the station, which makes carrying luggage inconvenient.
