This property blends a tree house and a screened‑in porch. The grounds are lush and well kept, but the approach road needs a heavy‑duty vehicle. I had filtered the listings to include homes with AC, but this one does not have AC, so read the fine print; it has fans, but if you are a cold sleeper it may not suit you. The pool was great and much needed in the humid weather. The kitchen is fully equipped and the river/wildlife views are priceless. The screens had many rips, so I woke up covered in mosquito bites. Even with the fans it was very warm and you sweat all the time. There were also many insects outside because of the stagnant pond below the house—bring bug spray. The shower was in the front of the house by a window with no shades, so privacy was minimal.
