The place is ideal for quiet moments and relaxation in a calm setting. The hostess is very supportive and went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready. The customer service is top notch—it feels like a home away from home.

“An incredible, beautifully renovated place—highly recommended for families or groups of friends!”

The stay at Mulanje Vista House felt more like home than a trip to Malawi, thanks to its cozy, stylish interior. Every comfort was there: a hot shower, air conditioning, microwave, fridge, and more. Even a brief power cut was barely noticed because we could cook with the gas backup and charge phones via the solar panels. Verily, the owner, paid incredible attention to detail, offered great suggestions, helped rent a car, gave a complimentary breakfast set, and swapped all towels and sheets for the second night.

“Enjoyable and relaxing”

The house was nice and comfortable, with spacious rooms and a kitchen stocked with all the basics plus a large dining table. From a distance we could see Mulanje Mountain, and it was close to town. We didn't find anything we disliked, but we did have a small issue: the kitchen only had a freezer, no refrigerator. The coffee plunger was broken and only beans were provided without a grinder. Using the pin from our booking reservation led us in the wrong direction, but the staff at Mulanje Vista were quick to help.
