A wonderful experience in Kurokawa Onsen. One of the best ryokans you can stay at in terms of onsens and availability. All staff are extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast and dinner were great – you also get laminated photos at the end as a keepsake from the ryokan.

The dinner was good. The slippers were hard to walk in and I nearly slipped down the stairs.

The building feels historic and the atmosphere is superb. The only downside is the steep stairs, and it’s a pity that the family bath can only be used once.
