“Perfect for a short stay”
Breakfast was great with well‑priced options, and the staff were amazing. The stay was perfectly comfortable for a short visit, though the bed felt a little firm for my liking.

The room was clean and well presented. We booked a 4‑bedroom for four people but there were only three of everything. A second set of towels arrived after the first request, but it wasn't until the third request that we got a fourth coffee mug. Plenty of tea was available, but there weren't many coffee sachets.

The staff were extremely accommodating to our needs. Its location is very handy to shops, etc., and the restaurant is very convenient. The nightly price was quite expensive considering our room had no kitchenette.

Almost everything was within walking distance, which was great, and the staff were wonderful and very helpful. The beds were comfy and the heater did wonders; the shower had high pressure. However, there was no toilet brush in the bathroom, only one comforter while the others were wool blankets, and for a three‑person room there were only two sets of hot drinks. Free parking was only available for smaller vehicles.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mercure Wellington and have booked here a second time because of the overall convenience. The room was very clean, especially the bed, which felt fresh and comfortable. We also appreciated the filtered water tap on the executive level, where we could refill the glass jar provided in the room—a small but useful touch. The main downside was the shower water pressure, which was quite low; I’m not sure whether this was because we were staying up on Level 7. Our room was also close to the lift, so there was a little bit of noise at times. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. Having Wilson Parking close by was also very convenient and was one of the reasons we chose to stay here again.
