The hotel is not far from Sea World, offers free continental breakfast, and has many good parking spaces. The downside is that there is no bathtub for children, parking costs extra, and the continental breakfast was limited on Saturday.

The location is close to SDSU. I have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express hotels and this one was overpriced, with nothing particularly special about it. An extra $40 per day parking fee was charged despite a large parking area.

The room was very comfortable, and there were several dining options within walking distance. The staff were very nice and friendly, but the Chardonnay machine did not work.

The spot was spot on, and most of the staff were friendly. My room was clean and nice, and parking was always free with several entrances and exits. I was annoyed that parking wasn’t listed in the price upfront and I only found out at checkout, and I also wished there were extra blankets already in the room.
