The beach was great and the room right next to the pool was nice, but it was a bit far from town, though very peaceful.

We were the only guests because it was low season, yet we felt very comfortable and safe; the staff were friendly, breakfast and lunch were delicious, and the room matched the photos exactly. Even in low season the hotel stayed clean and well maintained, and we enjoyed the surrounding nature and animals like monkeys and peacocks; the pool was refreshing since the beach was not swimmable due to big waves and current. The hotel sits on Goyambokka beach and you can walk to Silent Beach.

It was our third stay at this place and we were satisfied with the room, the location – the beach is just a few steps away, the breakfast is very good, and the staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. The pool and large garden invite relaxation and you can see many animals (birds, hornets, iguanas, monkeys, etc.). It’s a bit off the road, quiet, but reachable quickly on foot or by tuk-tuk to Tangalle with shopping, a bank, a train station, more restaurants and stalls with fruit and snacks – everything you need. After a fall we went to the hospital/doctor, and Lal and his team were very helpful, competent, and always available for any questions. Thank you! The kitchen there is great and nearby you can find various restaurants that serve very tasty food.

The location was good. The isolation was noisy, a scent disappeared from my luggage, late check‑in, no response to an early check‑in request, and the service felt impersonal.
