As always, the Grand Mercure hotel was fantastic. The room was lovely, the staff were great, and the lounge offered excellent drinks and snacks in the evening. Everything was good.

The view from the room was nice. The elevator was a huge traffic jam; when I finally thought I could enter the room, the key I received at check‑in hadn’t been activated, so I had to wait below the elevator and go back to the front desk. After getting the key again I had to queue for the elevator once more, taking over 30 minutes to reach the room and exhausting me.

It was only a 5‑minute drive to Shima Spain Village, so the location was convenient, and the food was tasty. The only downside was the lack of a massage machine.
