The location of this hotel is really convenient, but that's about where the positives end for me. I had a tough time with payment - it wasn't super clear what I was being charged for. And when I asked for a room that would be easy for my mom to get to, since she's disabled, they stuck me on the top floor with a bunch of stairs to climb. Not ideal.

I'm really loving the spot at El Cid, La Ceiba - the location is prime and that natural pool is a winner. Plus, the stone steps leading into the ocean are a great touch.

We had an amazing time here - everything was really great. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and we loved the location. We didn't really have any complaints, which is always a good sign!

My time here was pretty awesome, the water is super clear and perfect for snorkeling. The staff were amazing and the food was great, but I gotta say the bed was a bit of a letdown, it was kinda uncomfortable.

I didn't get a chance to have breakfast here, which was a bummer. On the downside, I wasn't told about the major construction going on at the property and it's seriously loud.
