The spot is amazing, but the shared bathrooms weren’t great at the end of the day; still, as a refuge it was a positive experience 😊.

“Comfort in the mountains”

It’s a large room, not ideal for a romantic getaway, but perfect for a hiker: beds were clean and comfy, water (including drinking water) and showers were available, the owners were friendly, dinner and breakfast lived up to expectations, the cottage was big, quiet, and cozy, and the owners’ dog was absolutely charming. The location was perfect, the staff were welcoming, and the food was delicious. The bathroom, though, was not up to par.

The staff were extremely courteous and the food was excellent! Organization was flawless and it was pure peace. Traveling with a dog, we really appreciated how welcoming the place was for our four‑legged friend. We had breakfast and dinner included, but they also offered us sandwiches for the day, knowing that in the mountains people usually plan hikes during the day. That was greatly appreciated, even though they also have a very, very good restaurant. Plus, many trails start from there, so I highly recommend it for anyone who loves the mountains and wants to fully enjoy them! I knew I was going to stay in a dormitory and not expect a suite, but the bed wasn’t spotless—nothing spectacular, just dust and sheets/ pillowcases that weren’t fragrant.
