A simple, affordable economy hotel with a wide view from the windows; the room information is provided in Japanese, Chinese and English. The neighbourhood feels very local and not many foreign tourists seem to be around, which I liked, and I’d stay a few more days next time, also visiting Ōgaki Castle and the Sekigahara Battlefield Museum beyond the two tram stations. The receptionist was very patient and explained that the laundry room is on the second floor just outside the main gate, but on the second night it rained while I was carrying laundry through the open‑air section, which was a bit awkward.
