It is very centrally located and practically right next to Termini Station, from where you can easily reach other places to visit—or simply walk there. We did a lot of things on foot, and there are many restaurants nearby. It’s a hard place to find because there’s no storefront—just a huge wooden door, and then you take a small elevator up to the rooms. My flight was slightly delayed, so I arrived 10 minutes after the check-in window closed; they charged me €38 via the app plus another €30 on-site—€68 in total. I thought that was outrageous. Try to avoid this! I couldn't help it, though, since the flight delay was the cause. It was a total mess
The place was terrible—no hot water, the toilet seat didn’t work, and the last night there was no light at all.
The stay was perfect, clean, and the staff were friendly. Everything was fine.
“Value for money”
The spot is great, but I paid for the first night and the key was left somewhere. I had to wait until 9:20 am to pick it up because they said there’s no reception after 1:00 pm.
“Avoid”
Only the location was good. The room was filthy, housekeeping never came, and someone seems to have entered and unfolded the sheet. It feels like our stuff might have been inspected, which is scary. Ants were on the floor and we saw what looked like insect bites; we’re not sure if there are bed bugs, but it seems like a pest problem. There’s no sign for Vertex Palace and you can’t find it without asking locals.
