The staff were incredibly accommodating, the room was clean, the bathrooms were freshly renovated, and the view was lovely, but the building is very old—still fine for sleeping and breakfast.

The location is fine, hardly anyone notices the airfield. We found the reception staff very friendly and helpful. The online photos don’t reflect the actual condition of the property, so I would advise more demanding guests to reconsider. Even though we had asked in advance to bring a small dog and paid the fee at check‑in, the next morning we were denied access to the dining room. Only after a phone call with the manager could we bring the dog the following day. The kitchen crew moved around the dining area like the buffet layout was changing dramatically every two minutes.
