I booked last minute—just three hours before arrival—and everything went smoothly and quickly. The main issue is that the building is too noisy for sleeping. At 7 am, several guests were loudly chatting, and the kitchen noise was excessive, which left me unimpressed.

“Prático, bonito e bem localizado!”

The location was ideal and the space was generally very pretty, decorated with taste and creativity. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals, and there was even an outdoor grill. Because of the building’s old characteristics, sound insulation is almost non‑existent and worsens with the high ceilings, which create more echo. A low voice can be heard clearly from room to room. The mattress was also not the most comfortable, showing some wear. Personally, it didn’t bother me, since it was only two nights, but for someone with a sensitive sleep, it might not be the best. I would suggest adding more textiles to the rooms to better isolate the sound, such as the tapestries they have on several corridor walls.

Very comfortable, the female staff were friendly and helpful, the hostel is close to everything, the internet in the room works reasonably well, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the bathroom is excellent with everything (sink, toilet, shower) in a separate space, giving more privacy.
