The location was great. Our room faced Lake Bled and had a balcony with a table and chairs. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was compact but fine. The people running Pletna b&b were super friendly. You can rent a rowing boat from the neighboring b&b. Breakfast (extra charge) was very good. The coffee could have been stronger, but it wasn’t a big deal.

We had a fantastic stay overall; the staff greeted us warmly in German and took good care of us. The room was well furnished and offered an unbeatable view from the balcony over the lake and the island. The little supply station on the hallway—dishware, coffee, tea, extra towels, Q‑tips, etc.—was very handy. The hotel is very close to the bus stop and serves as a good starting point for all excursions around Bled. A supermarket and a restaurant are right next door. We’d stay here again any time we visit Bled. The only thing that could be improved is that the room and bathroom might have been a bit larger for two people and two suitcases.

Everything was spotless and comfortable, and having a fridge and kettle was a nice touch. The staff were very welcoming and offered great help with local attractions. The restaurant next door served breakfast for €15 and traditional Slovenian dishes, plus tasty local wines. The only downside was the busy main road, but we knew about it before booking, and it was quiet at night so it didn’t bother us.

The hosts were fantastic and very helpful, giving us advice about both the local area and places further afield. The spot was amazing, and the new tea/coffee corner was a real treat. Breakfast options were excellent and catered to whatever you wanted. We checked out the neighboring building and found a wonderful selection, and the room‑service menu looked incredible. We also took a swim using the lake access right across the road.
