The staff here are so warm and attentive, it really makes a difference.
The food was amazing, I even bought local postcards to write home about it.
The location was perfect, just off the shopping street and lake.

“Not bad, memorable… but maybe a once in a lifetime experience.”
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were “alright” – some areas felt a bit “under‑renovated”. We found spider webs inside the indoor bath area. The indoor tub was stone‑built, a bit rough around the edges, and not the most comfortable.

Yufuin Hoteiya is ideally located in a very quiet, tranquil spot just a few minutes’ drive from the bustling Yufuin pedestrian tourist street. Our room at Yufuin Hoteiya was excellent, featuring private indoor and outdoor baths. Additionally, several large public baths around the property were available for guests to use during their stay. Nothing comes to mind.
The hot‑spring water and private open‑air bath were fantastic, and the popcorn and rice cake made on site were a fresh, nice touch, but the bed was uncomfortable.
