“Leider war es nicht möglich den Schlüsseltresor zu öffnen.”

I tried to open a key box around 21:30 with the number sent in the standard message, but it wouldn't budge; after several attempts I tried to reach the host at 21:57, which also failed, and then again at 22:05; only after two days did I get a reply via the booking messages. It’s disappointing— the sparse contact from the host suggests they might be holding the price I already paid. I’ll edit this review if anything changes.

“Für den uns ausgewiesenen Preis und den kurzen Aufenthalt war alles okay.”

We really liked the holiday apartment: two small bedrooms, a large room with a double bed, a gorgeous big kitchen, and a great bathroom were available to us. The host was very helpful and easy to reach. The kitchen utensils were only sparsely stocked; for the two of us that was just enough, but teaspoons and a coffee pot were missing. A table and a few chairs would have helped turn the big room into a proper “living room.” We couldn’t find a place to store and charge our electric bikes; the battery in our bikes is built‑in.

“Für eine Nacht geht passt das noch. Osterburg ist ja gleich um die Ecke.”

No staff were on site anymore, the code transmission went wrong but was then handled over the phone. Breakfast is no longer offered. The bikes could be parked overnight in the former breakfast room. A drinks/snacks vending machine would be nice, because otherwise there’s nothing else. It used to be much better in Krumke.

The place is thoughtfully decorated, a fantastic spot that's very private and steeped in history, and we felt incredibly comfortable—thanks!
