“It was a bed to sleep in and I was tired. If you can’t find anywhere else, it will do.”

It was the only hotel open at 1am after a cancelled flight at DIA. There was no climate control in the room and the Wi‑Fi didn’t work. The hallway had broken sheetrock and molding, and only one person was on duty.

“We did NOT stay because they didn't respect our reservation and gave the room to someone else.”

The staff seemed visibly upset about our situation and tried to accommodate us at 3:30AM, but the hotel was under active reconstruction and they couldn’t help. The lobby was dirty with old, visibly worn furniture. The hallways were also very worn and dirty, and the one room we were shown was still under construction.

The room was a good size and the doors were wide enough to get through. The bathroom didn’t have grab bars, which is a must for me.
