You can’t control the luck of the draw when you end up with an apartment on the road; because of the location we didn’t want to open the doors, which made the room even hotter. Part of the blind was broken, letting a lot of light in. Otherwise the room was fine, with minor wear and tear and a bin that wasn’t working properly. These issues make the price feel too high, especially with a shared bathroom.

The highlight was comfort, but the carpet was soiled, the room was very hot, and the thermostat didn’t provide air conditioning. There were no windows to open, so the only ventilation was to open the rear doors to a shared balcony—raising privacy concerns. A gap in the blinds couldn’t be closed to block light or prevent being seen from the balcony.

To pay £80 pounds for a room you would certainly expect to NOT share a bathroom with five other people
