We booked a basic room that was very affordable and met all our needs, and the pub had a great vibe. The restaurant was excellent, set in a lovely countryside spot with a short drive to the Channel Tunnel; we missed breakfast because it starts after 9:00, but that wasn’t a major issue. We’d definitely stay again since we enjoyed the experience of crossing the tunnel.

Cozy little place, small but had everything you needed. Could have used a fresh coat of paint on the walls in room 2, a bit grubby in some spots.

We spent a fantastic night in room 1, The Pommery Room, and the decor was superb and spotless. Loved the velvety furnishings, the spa bath was wonderful and the lighting in it was great. The bed was so comfortable and the room had tea, coffee, water, biscuits, chocolates, a refrigerator, and an in‑room safe. There was also a small seating area outside the room. The dressing gowns were soft and fluffy, slippers were provided, and a fan was great since it was still warm. Breakfast was hot and fresh and the staff were friendly and welcoming. ❤️ The only downside was having to check out of the room, which was so pretty.

Great venue, but the water didn’t work because none of the water ran to Lenham. I didn’t like that the water was out for the whole stay; we were promised a guaranteed free stay but haven’t received confirmation yet.

The staff, bar area and food were great, but the room was dirty and smelled musty—very dusty. Sky TV didn’t work and the TV was very small; you couldn’t see it from the bed, you’d have to sit on top of it to get a view.
