“I did enjoy my stay. Really nice staff.”
The staff were witty and nice, and the location is close to everything. The bed was very hard and had one bug, which made me a bit uneasy about getting out of the tub; more handrails are needed.

I thought breakfast would be included, but it wasn’t. The receptionist…

I walked a short distance to get to the fun spots nearby, but the indoor waterpark we were told about turned out to be in an adjacent hotel, forcing the kids to trek outside in the cold to reach the play area next door.

I loved the location, and everything else was great.

There was no breakfast at the resort, but the Log Cabin Restaurant across the street was excellent. The 4‑bedroom signature villa looked nice, yet it cost $2200.00 for 4 days and 5 nights. Even though I own a HICV, the room wasn’t available to me through HICV for the dates I needed, even though it was listed as available. That doesn’t add up. I had to book this stay myself because the sales rep claimed that HICV owners could access Orange Lake Land Trust resorts if booked at least 3 months in advance—a blatant lie. The sales team will say anything to close a deal, but no HICV manager will fix the problem. My points are set to expire in December with no fault on my part, yet HICV wants to charge me to extend them. That’s unfair!
