“The resort and staff spoiled my holiday and experience of the island”

The location was fine, but I ran into a ton of issues: I found several cockroaches in my room and it never got cleaned. When I asked for a room change and offered to pay extra, the staff were aggressive and reluctant to swap rooms. The resort rented me a motorbike but didn’t give me a helmet or check the bike. The bike broke down far from the resort even though I had filled the empty tank; Thai locals and tourists tried to start it, thinking it was a battery or remote issue. The resort almost never answered my phone calls, and I had to pay 200 baht for a taxi back to the accommodation. When I returned, the owner shouted at me and blamed me, even though Thai people who had helped me told her otherwise, making me feel intimidated and unsafe as a solo female traveler.

“LOCATION is incredible, hotel is medicore to poor compared to the others at the beach.”

The location was out of this world, the beach was incredible, and the water was so hot it felt like a jacuzzi. The staff, however, were rude and borderline passive‑aggressive, offering no help with planning activities. When we asked to book a snorkeling trip, they told us to rethink it because of the weather, but the weather turned out perfect and they still wouldn’t help us book it, so we had to go to the hotel next door that day, which didn’t improve our stay. As a huge foodie, the food was the worst I’ve had on my entire trip to Thailand.

“La plus belle plage de Koh Kood”

The beach at Koh Kood is the most beautiful, the wooden bungalows are very comfortable with lounge chairs under the trees facing the sea. Absolute calm, almost no one on the beach. The water is crystal clear and the sand is perfect. The only downside is that the kitchen closes at 19:30.
