The setting is enchanting, perched on a hilltop with a stunning view. The ancient courtyard that forms La Buca is breathtaking, with every corner impeccably maintained. The rooms and interior spaces are beautifully furnished and meticulously detailed with great taste. The owners are extremely kind, helpful, and full of fascinating stories. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. For weeks we’ll keep dreaming about the fresh ricotta and their homemade preserves. In short, it’s hard to find a reason not to book right away!

This charming spot sits amid picturesque hills, making it a perfect base for exploring Bologna, Modena, Ferrara, Parma, and even Florence. Nearby, you’ll find restaurants serving delicious food. The owners are very friendly, and Andra prepares amazing breakfasts with exceptional jams. Truly a fantastic, authentic, one‑of‑a‑kind place.
