This place feels like the closest thing to paradise on earth; the views are spectacular, the serenity is indescribable, and hearing the sea at night was simply magical. We were the only guests at that moment, which made it even more private. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. We expected to find very large insects, but we saw none—just a lot of crabs and wasps. The sea is divine and crystal clear; the waves hit us hard, but we could swim in without trouble. There are many relaxing spots like swings, chairs, nets, and mats to lie on. We had issues with the water in our bathroom because a pipe was damaged by a local animal. However, that wasn’t a big problem because there were other bathrooms and showers available that we could use. In our bathroom there were a lot of wasps that bit me twice, but that’s understandable in such a remote environment right next to the jungle. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s worth mentioning that arriving by boat is an experience in itself and can be difficult for people with back problems, since the tide is quite strong. All in all, everything was great. We fell in love with this place and look forward to returning someday.
