Rodeway Inn Carrollton I-35E

I’ve been staying at this hotel for years now. It’s always clean, convenient, and ready for a night’s stay. The road work over the past year has made it difficult to get back to the hotel at night because of constant nightly closures.

They accepted the booking even though there was no way for customers to reach the location because of construction, then hung up on me when I asked to talk to the property manager for a refund. Everything should not have accepted the booking, should have refunded without a fight, and should not have been rude.

The rooms were a good size. Construction and the goods were closed at 8 pm. It was hard to find a construction worker to open the door for us. Sheets were ripped, bathrooms moldy.

“You get what you pay for.”

The price, location, and the hotel photo in the ad convinced me to book our stay at the Rodeway Inn. The beds were very comfortable and the coffee was excellent, though I had to pick the exact number of sugar and cream packets. The bathroom was tiny, with a door notched so it could open past the toilet. I struggled a bit with the TV because it didn’t auto‑configure; it prompted me for account details before I could find something to watch. Highway construction across the street ran all night during our stay.

“I didn’t stay I refuse the room and yet they charge my credit card anyway, and I will be fighting that charge”

The lobby smelled awful and the location was terrible.
