The resort is beautiful and the view is great, but you have to keep an eye on it yourself. That means making sure the faucets are firmly attached to the wall and replacing anything that breaks quickly. Those little details keep it looking sharp, and it’s worth the effort.

The lodge room is spacious, with a super comfortable mattress and pillows, a mosquito net over the bed, and an external bathroom that separates the shower and toilet. Breakfast is excellent and they accommodated our vegan options. Because the lodge is surrounded by nature, there were no insects or spiders inside the room.

The place is gorgeous with a nice mountain view and a pretty resort. The water pressure was too low, so it took ages to fill the bathtub and the boiler was small, causing the water to cool quickly. The menu offered very few vegetarian choices, and the thin walls let you hear everything. A road behind the resort had a lot of construction traffic even early in the morning. We stayed during a family gathering, and it felt like we were the only outsider in a loud, large group, which ruined the peaceful experience we could have had.

Breakfast is simple but good. The hotel’s location is perfect and the décor amid the greenery is remarkable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff, while efficient and pleasant, only speak Vietnamese. The reception lacks maps of sites and nearby walks.

We traveled as a family and each of us got our own spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable rooms, while the jungle‑set bungalows were simply stunning; breakfast offered everything we love and we dined there both evenings, finding the meals truly delicious, and the staff were friendly, smiling and helpful – a little slice of paradise. The only downside was the many stone steps up the hillside, which proved a bit tough on my sore knees.
