The spacious, comfortable family room felt very homey, and the Full Irish Breakfast was delicious—just bring a big appetite because it’s quite large! The hostess was absolutely lovely, and there’s good parking available. The bathroom light and shower require pulling random‑seeming strings, but once you figure that out the water is hot and plentiful. The online information could be clearer about whether there’s a restaurant for evening meals and its opening hours, but there are plenty of other options a few minutes’ drive away.

Just outside Ballycastle on the Causeway Coast route, the staff were friendly, but the place smelled strongly of mold and everything felt very old.
