“ボチボチ満足”

The location was great and the staff were really helpful, but the air‑conditioning in the room barely worked, which was disappointing even though the staff came to fix it right away.

The price was unbelievably low, so it was a no‑brainer if you just need a place to sleep; the room was pitch dark, had very few outlets and, because I was lugging a Sea‑Pup, I had to trek to a socket. The bathroom was actually brighter than the room (laughs), and there was a decent eatery nearby. On the downside, the darkness inside was extreme, the parking spots were scarce so I had to use a nearby coin‑operated lot that cost about 600 yen for 24 hours. The reception area was stuffy and poorly ventilated, making the staff look miserable; you could tell they were trying to save electricity. It was so dim I had to point a desk lamp upward. Cheap hotels have these quirks, and maybe spending a bit more for a better place would have been wiser.
