The staff were lovely, the room was spacious with all the facilities, and the bed was very large; the pub was full of bits and pieces but kept very clean. Breakfast was huge with many options, and the evening pie night was excellent, especially the chocolate peanut cheesecake. However, drink prices were much higher than we are used to, room 8 was warm during a late heatwave and the extractor noise was constant when the windows were open, and while there was plenty of parking, much of it was on a slope.

The family staff were very friendly and invited us to buy a few beers and use the tables, even though they were closed for service on a bank holiday. It was a typical English country inn, in my experience.

Very good. We ate at the restaurant, it was really good but we waited more than 1h and for the breakfast as well. But really good just a little bite to long
