Nestled beside Cala Domingos Beach, Iberostar Waves offers one‑storey garden bungalows with private bathrooms, satellite TV and terraces. Guests enjoy three outdoor pools, a buffet serving Mediterranean and international cuisine, a lounge bar, snack bar and pool bar. On‑site tennis, table‑tennis, games room, children’s club, playground and kids’ pool complement free parking, a shuttle minibus, and proximity to Calas de Mallorca’s shops and restaurants.

The animators were super attentive and very friendly, the program for the kids was fantastic, the hotel sits right on Cala Domingo Bay with a great beach, but the property is huge and golf carts are used for transport around it, and the wait times were sometimes extremely long, which was truly annoying and inflexible.

The resort is spacious with nice rooms that aren’t noisy. The water stations are great, so you can refill your bottle anytime. The food is very good and varied, and the drink selection is more than sufficient, always offering the original. At the Mexican night they even served Corona beer. The staff are extremely friendly and very child‑friendly! Kids get high chairs, small glasses are provided at the buffet and snack bars, and the rooms offer either a bassinet or a safety rail. The buffet also has a kids corner with plain fish, mashed potatoes, etc. The shuttle service is handy and even necessary; in summer I can imagine it being exhausting to walk back to the room depending on where you’re staying. There’s a small shop on the property with everything you might need, an ATM, and plenty of parking. The dinner service is a nightmare. Breakfast still gets chaotic because everyone wakes up at different times, and many people use the poolside snack bar at lunch. During the off‑season dinner was extremely busy because the beach Mexican restaurant was already closed. The dishware was sometimes dirty, and twice the chicken wasn’t fully cooked. The hotel is described as very family‑friendly, but I would say it’s a pure family hotel. If you travel here as a couple, you won’t be able to enjoy any peace and quiet!

The bungalow was upgraded for free, the food was great, the location was excellent, and the shuttle service was superb. Nothing negative.

The privacy of the cabins, the pool, the beach, the friendly staff, and the food – everything. The mini‑disco, however, felt more like a theater than a dance where kids could really participate.
