The owner shared the hotel’s backstory and the breakfast was delicious, but the pool was cold and the bedroom door wouldn’t lock properly.

The photos on the website were nothing like reality; everything was dirty, in poor condition, and neglected, and it was expensive for what it offered. I never saw the building shown online. They didn’t honor reservations and gave me fewer rooms than I asked for. The staff were arrogant and clueless about fixing problems. The place and its surroundings were not very central and felt unsafe.
