Not much to say: the room was fine and the shower worked well, and a young woman helped us contact the manager who was covering for the absent owner. However, this isn’t a hotel—it’s just one unit among many long‑term rentals. The area is rubbish and untidy, and you’ll hear dogs howling all night. There’s no reception; we had to call two numbers before speaking to anyone. Initially, the room had no towels or toilet paper, so we had to call again. There’s no kettle for hot tea or coffee. The back door was padlocked, so we couldn’t use part of the property. I’ve forgotten more, but this should suffice. This is the first time I’ve downgraded my stay in Thailand. Most Thais care about goodwill, but this place offers none.
