A place with incredible potential. A charming location, a peacock wanders around the grounds. Breakfast is sufficient. Cleanliness definitely needs improvement. There were hairs on the towel. The double bed is definitely too small. Two adults have no chance of sleeping well in it.

“Nett, günstig, aber hellhörig.”

The staff were above average in friendliness and helpfulness. The bathroom had been renovated. The interior featured a pleasing wood look and wooden furniture. The location by the lake and the forest was fantastic. The restaurant and beer garden were top. Parking was free. However, the sound‑proofing panels are sold at any hardware store and would even match the rest of the hotel’s wood aesthetic. The guest house is so noisy that you can hear conversations in the neighboring room, hear neighbors’ phones and alarm clocks, etc. Earplugs are a must.

“Ruhiges Waldhotel am Stadtrand von Berlin”

The hotel sits quietly and idly by a lake, offering plenty of free parking and a friendly staff that cares about guests' well‑being. Our room was spacious, bright, and featured lovely natural wood furnishings, and the breakfast buffet was superb. The bathroom could use a modernization.

“Ich würde nie wieder in dieses Hotel reisen.”

The lakeside location was nice, but the Caribbean bar had already closed its doors. The bathroom was renovated. The rooms only had a narrow double bed, two chairs, a desk with a small TV, and no storage for our belongings, making it feel more like an old East German building than a hotel. The corridors were interminably long and steep stairs added to the hassle. We had booked a lake‑view room, which was on the lake side, but the overgrown forest blocked most of the view, and the windows were so dirty from the outside that it was hard to see through. The restaurant was closed from Monday to Wednesday, so we had to drive out in the evening to find another place to eat. The hotel is very isolated, with nothing nearby, and I would have preferred to drive home right away.

The location is very good. Cleanliness of the premises has a lot of room for improvement, and the reception is often understaffed, making it hard to reach them at certain times.
