The breakfast was good, the location is good, the staff were friendly, but I thought it was a bit expensive because they advertise in US$ and their exchange rate was not good. I get very annoyed when in a country that uses some one else's currency; when I asked the manager why his exchange rate was so low, he laughed and said the owner had told him to charge at that rate. 5th. The US$ to LKR exchange rate.

The spot is great for heading up to Lion Rock and grabbing a bite nearby; breakfast was abundant and tasty. The manager organized our three‑day itinerary—hikes, safari, transport—so the two‑night stay was spot‑on, and we’ll definitely return.

The staff’s kindness and attentiveness, especially Luchira, were outstanding, always ready to help us find tours and give advice—big thanks 🙏🫶. The only downside was the absence of a pool, but Luchira’s friendliness led me to a lovely nearby pool where I could cool off.
