Everything was great – the hosts, Roberto and Bruno, were wonderful, ensured our comfort, and happily gave us local recommendations. Could not have been better!

The villa, beautifully restored by the two owners with artistic sensitivity, sits in a vast park with ancient cedar trees, a large pool, and several terraces – a princely paradise. The “location” has two sides: absolute quiet and a beautiful setting, yet Périgueux with restaurants and bars is about 8 km/20 min away. In summer it’s easy to bike along the river, otherwise a car is needed.

The setting and this house are exceptional. Bruno and Roberto welcomed us warmly in a magnificent décor. Every room is carefully decorated. Our stay was a real pleasure.

The breakfast was great, but there were too many mosquitoes, no air‑conditioning, and worse, the room had no bathroom—there was only a toilet on the landing!
