The place was incredibly quiet, with a stream and pine-covered mountains nearby, and the host was wonderful.

The apartment was huge and modern, complete with its own balcony. The host was very helpful, lending us a heater when the central heating was off due to warm weather. Parking near the balcony entrance was easy, and there was no extra fee for our dog. The Wi‑Fi was good and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, though it lacked an oven. On the downside, stray dogs outside the hotel attacked both our dog and us, forcing us to walk our dog a long distance. We didn’t let this lower our rating because it wasn’t the owner’s fault, but it does highlight the issue of traveling with a pet in rural Romania where stray dogs are common. The last night was cold in the apartment even though we had borrowed a heater, and the outdoor temperature dropped to 5 °C.

The owner was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The scenery was amazing. The main town was a 20‑minute downhill walk and a taxi back cost about £3. Shopping and eating were very cheap. However, there were problems getting to the property on arrival; the owner should give clearer instructions beforehand.

It was a very pleasant experience! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well maintained in a quiet area. Communication with the owner was excellent and very professional. I highly recommend it!
