Very kind host, friendly welcome. The cottage was super equipped and clean, we didn’t miss any gear, everything was available. Great spot for outings.

A beautiful, cozy cottage in a great location, over‑standardly equipped, everything worked, clean and snug. The hosts were pleasant and we could arrange things individually. It rained a lot, but all the wet gear dried easily in the cottage. We liked the stay a lot and if we ever visit this part of the Czech Republic we’ll gladly return to this accommodation; we highly recommend it! The whole stay felt like autumn weather – rain, snow, cloudy – but that didn’t bother us at all because of the cottage’s facilities.

The area around Jiretin pod Jedlova is dreamy. Our lovely holiday home was strategically very well placed. The Tollenstein is about 2 km away, the shopping hall is directly in Jiretin near the church, 2.5 km reachable. A hike to Tannenberg from the accommodation covers about 4.5 km. The Lausche is roughly 8.4 km away. We also recommend the Kreuzberg, only 2–3 km away. As you can see, there are many options for hiking in the low mountains. By the way, there’s a very good restaurant on the main street toward Rumburg; walking from the accommodation is about 3.2 km. The soups there taste wonderful and you must try the Palatschinken. Our holiday home has a wood stove; nothing feels better than wood warmth. The kitchen had all the relevant utensils for baking, cooking, and frying. The surroundings are very quiet. In the evenings on the terrace we looked at the starry sky. On the balcony above there are very cozy seating areas and you see the Tannenberg wrapped in blankets. We slept very well. Our hosts handed us the keys at first and showed us the holiday home very kindly, giving useful tips. Saying goodbye to our hosts was very warm. We’ll gladly come back. Eight days of vacation passed too quickly :-(
