I love Manik and the team there; the location is unbeatable, super quiet yet right next to Blue Point, the surf, and all the action. Monkeys can be a bit noisy, so it’s best to keep your bag in your room if you’re sitting by the pool.

“Passable”

The only good thing about this homestay is its location. It sits right in the center of everything, on the main road but at the very end, which makes it quite convenient. It’s also very close to Single Fin, a great spot for an amazing breakfast with a 180‑degree ocean view and for watching the sunset. The staff are very nice and polite, like Indonesians in general, and if you ask for cleaning they’ll definitely take care of it. It’s a very calm and simple place, but the bungalows are extremely minimalist, which unfortunately doesn’t give you much of a sense of comfort. The floor is just cold concrete, and the bathroom isn’t very comfortable either, as the shower is right in the center and the water ends up everywhere. The windows also look directly onto the garden, so you don’t really feel like you have much privacy.

Well located. It looked cleaner in the pictures; the hotel is getting a bit old but still a perfect accommodation for Bali! Really in the surfing mood.

The location was nice, close to the beach and the nightlife center. The pool view wasn’t like the photos, which were a bit faded. It could all use a little touch‑up.
