Hotel Lazi

They just stared at the confirmed booking on Booking and said they didn’t know anything, that everything was full, and each person blamed the next; in short, everyone was at fault. They ended up throwing us out, and we had to wander with our suitcase for two hours in Kobuleti looking for a place to sleep. I strongly do not recommend this hotel; the service is horrible, the owner and his wife are nervous, unbalanced people, and they raise their voices even when they’re at fault.

Excellent hotel, wonderful staff, tasty food, close to the sea. The roof has a cool terrace where you can sit at a table and watch the sunset or sunrise. There are many cafés and shops nearby, close to a stop from which you can go on excursions to other cities. We will definitely come back.

Parking is reserved for hotel guests. The breakfasts are good (though suspiciously similar to the food sold at the nearby store). There are restaurants and cafés nearby, and the beach is close. The view faces the road, so it can be noisy. Use the internet to call up; the reception is never staffed. They don’t give beach towels. The sea is dirty, and after swimming I got a rotavirus.

The location is great, with cafés, a restaurant, pharmacies, shops, and supermarkets nearby. The beach is only 100‑150 m away. The stay was perfect. The breakfasts were almost the same every day but tasty and not boring. Aside from the shortcomings mentioned below, we would return next time. Thanks to the hotel staff for everything they did and didn’t do 😂. The first day we found the hair dryer in the bathroom didn’t work; we told staff, they said they would fix it, but they never came. The stained glass door didn’t close fully, and at night the traffic noise was terrible. The TV box never turned on.

The place was spotless and the host was super friendly 👍👍👍. Everything else was great.
