The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and there were tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, and the place was reasonably quiet; plenty of shops, restaurants, and friendly pubs nearby, but there was no ironing board or iron to borrow from staff, and the single lamp in the room was broken.

It was cheap for the area and ideal as a base to explore Warwick, with no real negatives – it was clean and tidy.

The place was rough and a bit shabby, but the staff were friendly; the noise was a problem, waking me at 4 am and again at 6 am, leaving little rest before the 2‑hour drive home at 7 am.

The spot right next to the station and town centre was convenient; we were lucky someone was there to stash our bags, otherwise we’d have had to lug them around all day.
