The cabin was really cozy, and the DVD selection was a nice way to end the day; we had a wet weekend, but in the summer sunshine it’s lovely to sit outside and explore the site, with plenty to see and do, close to the attractions we had planned, and the surroundings with the castle are beautiful. We hadn’t brought our own towels, so we shared a couple from the caravan—maybe a better note on what we need to bring would help—and the vents/radiators could use a bit of dusting.

There were plenty of facilities, but the site is expensive for food and the shop, it’s poorly lit, and there isn’t enough signage.
