Making Memories Holiday Caravan

Location. The door was a nightmare to open or lock on arrival for our 3 day break. It broke on the morning of our last day which meant we could not lock the door and leave valuables in the property. I contacted the owner immediately via calling, email, whatsapp and text but did not hear back until 12 hours later. My partner had to sleep on the sofa as it could not be locked on the last night and we did not feel safe leaving it unlocked with children sleeping. When the issue was raised with the property owner said we must have slammed the door and broken it. Which did not happen, I use rather than booking privately for reassurance that if there are problems they will assist. This is not the case. The toilet in the master bedroom did not flush. Very tired caravan. It is nice that previous visitors leave items for the next guest but I do not think any open items such as milk and ketchup should be left behind

“Short break at Skegness”

The bed was lovely and soft, the children’s room had soft toys, and it was nice that previous guests had left milk and butter. The beds were freshly made. The only issue was that both toilets had loose flushing connections, so we had to keep tightening them or they would keep flushing.

The place felt like home, and I appreciated how they took care of kids and babies; the only hiccup was the door that stuck a little, but otherwise nothing to complain about.

“A lovely short break with my kids & grandaughter”

The room was fully equipped, spotless, and the location was superb; the front door, however, is really hard to open, probably warped by the recent hot weather.
